All About Dolling
Starting dolling: June 2002
How I found out about dolling: I found out about dolling while looking for fairy designs for tattoo inspiration. I came across a drag & drop dollmaker site: Dolls Mania, I sat for hours making drag & drop dolls. Then I came across the site: Dhaling.com and learned how to make dolls using bases.
Method of Shading: I'm a tool shader
Paint Program I use: Adobe Photoshop 7 and Paintshop Pro 8
Total number of dolls I made: 500 (the count at the moment... this is due to the lost 2 computers and the death of my external hard drive I lost a lot of my. The actually count would probably be in the 1000's if I hadn't lost a big chunk of dolls :{
Total number of bases I made: 100
Favorite doll artists: To many to list
Favorite bases to use: Harlee Bases by Gabby, any base by Hollay and I just adore bases with pale skintones and I love larger bases(you can add a lot of detail using those kinds of bases)
Favorite doll sites: To many to list
Inspiration for my dolls come from: My Muses
My Muses: A little bit of everything
Why I love to doll? I love any thing to do with create art. To me creating dollz is a form of art, I don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Biggest dislike about dolling? When people go around saying that a true doll artist only pixel shades. Mine you, I've been dolling since 2002, I've been through the pixel vs tool battle. I've said it then and I'll say it now "The beauty of a doll doesn't come from which paint program you use or your method of shading. The Beauty of a doll comes from you!"
